Make Money Blogging – What It Takes
Make money blogging
Many new Internet marketers fail at Internet marketing because they find it too difficult and then they end up going to Fiverr.com to make a small income which won’t last. Everybody loves a little bit more money on the side but wouldn’t you rather make money blogging?
There are many people all around the world, who have become successful with blogging and many are making 6 figure incomes but how did they do this? They worked hard to make their business a success. Many people search the net looking for ways to make money online, they buy all these scams which tell them, they will make money within 24hours and so on but this is not true. People are falling for these scams and ending up losing money and not earning it.
I was one of these people until I realized, there was only one solution which really can change my life and that is to make money blogging. Anybody can make a site and write a few articles, but the main problem people have with blogging, is that they can’t keep writing month after month. They may have chosen the wrong niche or maybe they don’t have time to write posts. I work full time, working around 46 hours a week. When I get home I always spend at least an hour and a half on my site, writing content and guest posting to other sites to help promote my blog. If you can spend at least an hour a day then you CAN become successful and make money blogging.
So, how to make money from a blog?
If you are new to blogging then I need to tell you the truth! You need to stop thinking about money because blogging takes time and a big effort. You may not make any money within the first month, 2 months, 3 months or maybe not even the first 5. If you are looking to make money quickly then blogging may not be for you because it takes time to develop your blog.
There are many other factors involved like the niche you’re in, how you monetize your site, promoting it the right way, driving high volumes of traffic and so on. All these come in to play, although the harder you work promoting your site then the quicker it will develop and then giving you more opportunity to earn money.
It’s all about traffic.
The only way you will make money blogging is if you have traffic/visitors to your site. You need to capture emails and build a huge list so you can promote yourself and advise people to buy products you recommend. If you can get trust from visitors from your site then you can make money blogging and that’s a fact. For you to be making a solid income you would need at least 500 unique visits a day if you are good with advertising your products or services and the traffic must be targeted too.
Ways to make money blogging
There are many programs you can join like Google Adsense, Clickbank, Commission Junction, Amazon and many more. These are some of the most popular programs that Internet marketers are using to make money from their blogs and websites.
Build a huge list
I mentioned earlier to build an email list; well you must get an autoresponder and collect emails addresses. Doing so will capture emails and generate leads for future sales. If you get someone to enter their email address then in a way, you have their trust. They may want further updates from you because they like what you have already wrote about.
Let’s say you found an excellent Clickbank product which really could help people. Then you could make an email to send out to your list and explain why this offer could help them. Some may purchase the item then you will receive a commission, it’s that simple! Imagine you had a list of 5,000 emails then just imagine how many may convert. Just think about it $20 a commission and let’s say 300 bought the product, that’s $6000! That’s a lot of money, and then maybe 1 month down the road you found another one which was cheaper and you done the exact same method again.
The money is in the list so ALWAYS make sure to build a list as soon as you can.
What you need to succeed to make money blogging
Ok, you need to have determination, passion, patience and a great deal of creativity. I find blogging to be more of a hobby although I do take it very serious as a business because I want to turn this into a full time income within the next year. If you enjoy writing content to help people then blogging will be for you but if you’re not so keen on writing content at least 3 times a week then maybe it won’t be for you. If you’re serious about becoming a blogger then you must take it seriously because it will take time and a huge effort to make money blogging.
